Privacy Policy

Aasaan Global Ltd. (“Aasaan Global”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the personal information of our clients and website visitors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the confidentiality obligations of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) Code of Professional Conduct.

1. Information we collect

• Enquiry information — name, email, phone number, country, immigration status and details you provide through our contact form, phone, WhatsApp or email.
• Client file information — when you retain us, the personal information and documents required for your immigration application: identity and travel documents, education and employment records, family information, financial documents, medical and police certificates, and IRCC correspondence.
• Client portal account data — login credentials (passwords are stored only as secure hashes), documents you upload, messages, and technical logs such as login times and IP addresses used for security.
• Website usage — standard server logs. We do not use advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

• To assess your eligibility and respond to your enquiry;
• To prepare, submit and manage your immigration application with IRCC, provincial programmes, educational institutions or employers, with your authorisation;
• To communicate with you about your case, and to send service updates you have consented to receive;
• To meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations;
• To secure our systems and prevent fraud.

3. Disclosure

We disclose your information only to the extent necessary to provide our services — to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, provincial immigration authorities, designated learning institutions, employers or other parties directly involved in your application — and only with your consent (typically through IRCC's Use of a Representative form). We do not sell or rent personal information. Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.

4. Storage and security

Client portal documents are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored outside the public web directory on our servers, accessible only to the account holder and authorised Aasaan Global staff after authentication. Access is logged. We retain client files for the period required by CICC (currently a minimum of six years after the file is closed), after which they are securely destroyed.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent (subject to legal and contractual restrictions) or ask that your portal account be closed. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

6. Cookies

Our public website uses no tracking cookies. The client portal uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in; it is deleted when you log out or close your browser.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
